A Dose of Humility...Swallowed Whole

Stephanie, Delena, Marie, Griselda and I did an outreach at Planned Parenthood today.  We interceded for ladies and gentlemen who may not know the Truth, offered prayer to those entering and leaving the clinic, and encouraged those we spoke with to choose life and abstinence until marriage. We were able to touch probably 50% of the cars that we saw enter Planned Parenthood today...SUCCESS!  Glory to God!  Seed planted and Word received that will not return void.

Here are a few highlights of what happened today.  My sisters will add more in the comments:

  • Marie and I were able to pray with a reporter for Telemundo Houston as she was entering the clinic.  I simply asked her if there was anything that I could pray with her about and she just told me she was a reporter going inside for an interview concerning SB 537 (a bill before the House that states that abortion clinics must meet the same requirements as all other ambulatory surgical centers).  I prayed with her and asked God for wisdom, that His Word says if we ask Him for wisdom He will grant it and not rebuke us for asking.  I prayed that she would have discernment, that the Spirit of God would come over her and that she would expose Planned Parenthood for who they really are.

She was a little "wierded out" and said, "Ok. Thank you..." BUT...she went into the parking lot, got out of her car and came over to ask me if she could interview me about why I am here and what I think about this bill!  JE-SUS!  So, we were interviewed by Telemundo Houston today and it aired at 5 pm and will air again at 10 pm on channel 47.  She interviewed us first, then went into Planned Parenthood.

I know that this was a door that God opened. I said that we are here in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  I told them that this bill is protecting women...that 92% of women who enter Planned Parenthood pregnant leave without a baby in their womb.  I said that if Planned Parenthood truly "Cares No Matter What..." then they would uphold standards even greater than those implored by the State of Texas.  If they truly cared no matter what, they would not be killing babies.  We believe that life begins at conception and that abortion is murder. I told them we are with Powerhouse Church and our outreach is called LoveLetsLive.

  • We also were able to pray with a couple who went into the bus to find out if they were pregnant.  They were excited and felt really good after we prayed with them.  We invited them to church and they would like to come!  Here is a picture Michael and Amanda and their baby!!!

Once we left the clinic, we checked under I45 to see if Clarence (a homeless man Delena and I met on our last visit) was by the trains. Sure enough, there he was sitting in his spot propped up against the railing. I asked him if there was anything that he needed and he said no.  He asked if we got beat up...I chuckled and said no, we were out saving babies again.  He said, "Save the babies."  I asked him if he got beat up and he said no, but they are still after us!

Once we left him with all the sugar we could find, I had this amazing revelation.  See, when we approached Clarence, I called out his name.  Without looking up or around, he said, "Is that Pam?"  I have only met this man ONCE...two weeks ago.  I realized that when Clarence called out my name, when he knew my name...it was Jesus saying "I know you!"  In Matthew 25:31-40, Jesus teaches us this:
“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

Today was a good day!  Jesus loved on me like I was the only one in His life.  He singled me out and just saturated me with His smooth, velvety, sweet, impressive Love.
